Control circuit design

The control circuit design of escalator is mainly divided into motor, thermal relay, main power switch, contactor, transformer, wire and cable, and selection of brake resistance. There are various control loop circuit design, including the inverter driving circuit, power control circuit, the brake circuit, inverter control circuit, maintenance control circuit, speed detection and control circuit, safety control circuit, lighting control circuit, fault display control circuit.

Motor model selection

Important parameters of escalator:

(1) rated operating speed: 0.5m/s

(2) hoisting height: 3.5m

(3) angle of inclination: 35 degrees

(4) step width: 1000mm

The speed of the required motor is calculated according to the running speed and the reduction ratio of the transmission gear. Then the torque needed for the escalator running without load is calculated according to the lifting height and the tilt angle, and the full load torque of the two passengers on each ladder is calculated. The maximum torque needed for the motor can be obtained.

In order to choose the motor selection model for the China host YJ160-11, rated voltage 380V, rated power 11KW, rated voltage 22A, maximum torque 2198N/m, output speed 39.18Rpm.
