2, due to the wear of the wheel slots of the speed limiter, the position of the steel wire ropes of the speed limiter decreases, and the rope clamp is not contacted with the steel rope or the braking force is not enough, which causes the steel rope slippage of the speed limiter. Treatment: adjust the position of the clamp and the steel rope in the speed limiter.

3, the size of the safety tong's lifting mechanism is incorrect, the stroke of the pulling rod is not enough, and the pulling is not in place, so that the wedge can not touch the rail face and cause invalid action. The way of handling is: the lift mechanism of different kinds of elevator safety clamps is also different, but most of them are crank rocker mechanism, which can change the effective stroke of the pulling rod by changing the structural size of the connecting rod mechanism.

4. The position of the steel wire rope of the speed limiter is not within the range of the effective width of the clamp, so that the clamp can not be clamped to the steel wire rope of the speed limiter and causes failure.

Processing method: if the relative position of the wheel slot of the speed limiter and the clamp is not correct, its relative position can be adjusted. If the fixing position of the speed limiter is not correct, the relative position of the wire rope and the clamp is not correct, and the position of the speed limiter can be adjusted. If the position of the wire rope is not correct, the position of the wire rope can be adjusted.

5. The speed limiter is not enough to clamp the power and can not hold the steel rope of the speed limit. When the speed limiter is operated, the steel rope of the speed limiter can not lift the safety clamp in the slot of the speed limiter and causes failure. The safety code for manufacture and installation of elevator stipulates that when the speed limiter moves, the tension force of speed limiter shall not be less than two of the following values: the 300N or safety clamp device needs 2 times of the required force. The tension force should be understood as follows: when the speed governor moves, the speed limiter gives the maximum braking force of the speed limiter rope through the friction or clamping device of the wheel groove, that is, the minimum tension force of the speed limiting rope is not in the speed limiter. This force is too small to move the safety clamp mechanism, but the force can not be too large to prevent it from breaking more than the tensile strength of the wire rope.

Treatment method: adjust the tensioning force of the speed limiting rope properly.

6, the installation of new elevator and speed limiter is wrong. When the elevator is running down, the speed limiter can not clamp the speed limiter. Otherwise, when the elevator is running up, the clamp can reverse to the wire rope and cause failure. Treatment: adjust the direction of the speed limiter.
